Winter Skiing Season

Skiing during the “winter” months in Whistler Blackcomb is a large window of opportunity. The mountains open in November and the season doesn’t end until April of the next year. Average snowfall is 33 feet per year, while temperatures stay moderate at –5 degrees Celsius on average.

Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains span an impressive 8,000 plus acres of terrain. The high-speed lifts, smooth corduroy cruisers, steep alpine bowls and a number of basic runs make the experience comfortable for beginners through to professionals.

Great Deals on Lift Tickets and Accommodation

The best deals are found before leaving for a vacation in Whistler. Up to 20% off of regular prices are given just for booking in advance, a minimum of 7 days prior, in conjunction with a hotel. This same deal also applies for going later in the season, from late March through to the end of April. A $210 CDN, 3-day ticket is reduced to $177.60 CDN by booking early.

Tickets are then delivered to the accommodation of choice and are good for both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
