This day spa in West Vancouver offers massage, detox, anti aging, facials, cellulite services, water treatment, pedicures, manicures and spa products.

Absolute Spa at the Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver, BC is the newest location launched by the popular Absolute Spa Group in British Columbia . Other locations, like the Fairmont, Hotel Vancouver, Century Hotel and River Rock Casino, have been pampering guests and celebrities in Vancouver, but this is the first location within a mall.

Services are full range, with some added treats to keep things fresh: massage, detox, anti aging, facials, cellulite services, water treatment, pedicures, manicures and spa products. Personally recommended are the Organics Spa Binge Rare White Grapefruit manicure (yum!) and a luxurious water treatment in the spa therapy baths.

Massage

The massage options at Absolute Spa Park Royal are varied, offering both indulgent and therapeutic massage treatments. Those interested in pure pleasure will want to book a stone, four handed, Hawaiann Lomi Lomi or signature massage ($85-120 CDN). Those who need a real therapeutic treatment can opt for the deep tissue or sports services ($90-$130 CDN). Aromatherapy scents can be added to all massage treatments for $20.

Detox, Anti Aging and Cellulite Treatment

Some options for people who are looking to cleanse and refresh their bodies are the medi-spa non-surgical treatments. For face treatments, try an anti aging face lift ($185 CDN), mineral face treatment ($125 CDN) or glycolic peel ($170 CDN). The body can benefit from microdermabrasion ($75-$120 CDN), mud detox ($195 CDN), cellulite treatment ($195 CDN), or a love handle reduction ($195 CDN).

Facials, Manicures and Pedicures

Nothing is better then sitting back for a facial, manicure or pedicure service. The facial menu at Absolute Spa Park Royal consists of signature, mud, prescription and oxygen treatments ($110-$125 CDN). Manicures and pedicures cover all the basics, from gels, colour and repairs, to foot therapy and paraffin scrubs ($40-$80 CDN).

Spa Products

Absolute Spa Park Royal has the delicious Spa Binge Organics skincare line that is made from 100% organic active ingredients. The great part about the Absolute Group is that guests are taken care of with the finest products that have the most natural ingredients. All of the spa products used in treatments are carried in the shop and the staff are wonderful in recommending which products are best for aftercare at home.

“Our Mission at Absolute Spa is to provide the absolute best spa experience possible, with absolute care; not only during the present visit with us, but also after the guest leaves, we provide homecare with recommendations,” says owner Wendy Lisogar-Cocchia.

Absolute Spa

The Absolute Spa Park Royal is the 10th spa opening from the group in 10 years. This location is a complete dream, with state of the art equipment, discreet staff and an interior design style that feels sleek, personal and always classy.

I have been to Absolute Spa at Century Plaza and it was great. Today I got a baby sitter, battled and braved the heavy snow and decided to use my gift certificate and get a "time saver" medi/pedi; (done simultaneously). Well, I have to say it was a huge disappointment. If I had to pay the $126.00, before tip, out of my own pocket I would have been super mad. The place is not properly set up for a medi/pedi. I was on a massage bed, totally uncomfortable. The girls doing my nails also looked uncomfortable. Picking my nail colors was also an ordeal!! They didn't have a color palate to choose from so the girls had to go back and forth with the nail polish trays; they didn't look pleased. Back to the massage table....AWFUL! I had such a hard time putting my feet in the basin, I was splashing everywhere. I had a bulky pillow on my lap to rest my hands for the medi. This was also a bad experience. The girl was a new grad and wasn't really sure of her self. I had to ask her to wipe and repolish my nails twice and finally I came out with clear. The girl doing my pedi, with six years experience also nicked the side of my feet while buffing and had to apply alcohol...its red and really hurts. Even after that she used a grapefruit scrub! AWOCH! I have been to hole in the wall places way better than this. On the North Shore I recommend Spa Utopia . It looks better, staff are better, service is better, and over all the experience is WAY better. DO NOT waist your money. I spoke with the manager and she was good enough to not charge me.

I visited the Park Royal Absolute Spa last month and I loved it. The facilities are contemporary and relaxing and I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and services. I had a facial and body wrap and both were probably the best I every had. I would recommend this spa on the north shore for sure.
